GE can't help going for the right of center statesmen-like bloviators. <br/><br/>The best NBC staff reporter with the best political instincts and the least apparent bias is David Shuster. He would have been an excellent choice for MTP if the show were about substantive policy and political analysis. <br/><br/>It's really too bad the Clinton campaigned needed to play victim at the expense of Shuster's reputation because he is, far and away, the best choice for MTP (That is if the show was about political news as opposed to celebrity.)<br/><br/>Thank god the god-awful Brokaw has re-retired to Montana.
